Alcorcón's attentive Natxo Cacheres managed to snatch the ball when Hermengildo Erroman made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. Belo Alvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manolo Bacete scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Manolo Bacete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Manolo Bacete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Delmar Mayor hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolo Bacete in the 56th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alfonso Goicoechea could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Maurino Serena however easily saved by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's Manolo Bacete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 70th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Manolo Bacete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Isaac Ortiz replaced Belo Alvarez. A.D. Alcorcón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leroy Antunez in the 79th minute. But to his dismay, Anselmo Nevada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bacete came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Ortiz in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leroy Antunez who took care of the corner kick. The corner led A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez to fire away a dangerous shot which Pankracy Glogowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Isaac Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Glogowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
