Peyo Fonelleda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Charamut made a huge save. De Boedo Vengo were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Consejo del Mate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lisandro Roderigo took the corner. Lisandro Roderigo made a great header on De Boedo Vengo's corner, it was just that Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Roderigo in the 21st minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Bidun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Roderigo in the 40th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Charamut was a little too slow when Bolo Bolaño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Arano to make the kick off. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Vicente Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, De Boedo Vengo's Hugo Orlando Gatti threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paul Gheară, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Wawrzyniec Charamut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Santo Lorenz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 64 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Peyo Fonelleda came free, but Wawrzyniec Charamut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Consejo del Mate made a substitution. Danilo Gomesano replaced Peyo Fonelleda. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Felix Asier hit a great ball. Julio Kemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Charamut having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Charamut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danilo Gomesano's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Roderigo got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bolo Bolaño came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Consejo del Mate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bolo Bolaño couldn't finish the play. Wawrzyniec Charamut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Štefan Hlavica charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Štefan Hlavica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Štefan Hlavica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lisandro Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Boedo Vengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Roderigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Orlando Gatti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Boedo Vengo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Consejo del Mate.
