In the 17thth minute of the game Bernardo Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaqueteros FC's Javier Tono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Novaes in the 19th minute of play forced Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Javier Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Javier Tono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vaqueteros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Jursa was slow to take the kick. During this time Lex Academy's players had a chance to rest. Miloslav Krupička was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Javier Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miloslav Krupička, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vaqueteros FC's Javier Tono. Javier Tono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tosun Paşa in the 33rd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Novaes to make the kick off. Tosun Paşa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomáš Houdek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Angelo Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Bernardo Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lex Academy's Leo Štengl was substituted for Paco Arzola. Javier Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 79th minute of the match. Tomáš Houdek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Fremont went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Bernardo Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Tono. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head.
