After a rather tough play, Inter Milano's Radan Zehtinski got a free kick in the 17th minute. Léo Ortiz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Inter Milano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fraco Zago ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clemente Papo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The Talento Futebol clube fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Talento Futebol clube's Per-Arne Delin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Remigiusz Brzakala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Souza having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Lucrețiu Zmărăndescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Talento Futebol clube booed when Inter Milano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Pegiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlinhos Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Carlinhos Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Talento Futebol clube's Per-Arne Delin in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 88 minutes, Saul Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talento Futebol clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Francho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Saul Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talento Futebol clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Francho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasyl Pietras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Talento Futebol clube were the better team. Talento Futebol clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
