Slawomir Haszczak struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Serafin Estebano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami. With a little luck, Deportivo Kadorna's Serafin Estebano got control of the ball when Waldemar Walkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kajetan Klocko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami's Kajetan Klocko got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Haszczak in the 17th minute of play forced Deportivo Kadorna's goalkeeper Serafin Estebano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Deportivo Kadorna's Jonatan Gartxot in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Baltasar Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Kadorna's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Brytka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Gartxot in the 27th minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Olaf Brytka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Brytka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltasar Santana went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Olaf Brytka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Karmel in the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Deportivo Kadorna's Benedicto Karmel made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Brytka was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Inter Miami's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Santana came free, but Olaf Brytka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Jonatan Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Brytka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Gartxot struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Olaf Brytka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Kadorna. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Walkowski got free with Serafin Estebano in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Deportivo Kadorna were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltasar Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Baltasar Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Kadorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inter Miami's Olaf Brytka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Abar in the 61st minute of play. Flavio Evarado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Kadorna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Kadorna's Baltasar Santana got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Slawomir Haszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 minutes, Benedicto Karmel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Kadorna and the Inter Miami players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when Deportivo Kadorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Kadorna's Serafin Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Haszczak in the 69th minute of play. Olaf Brytka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Baltasar Santana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olaf Brytka. Baltasar Santana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami's zone, Benedicto Karmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Brytka came out of the goal and Benedicto Karmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Baltasar Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Miami's Olaf Brytka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Jonatan Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Brytka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Brytka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Santana in the 91st minute. Benedicto Karmel took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olaf Brytka. Olaf Brytka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 97th minute, Jonatan Gartxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Inter Miami fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Kadorna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
