After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Waldemar Walkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Miami's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Walkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timothy Kemmer got free with Olaf Brytka in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fred Bruckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Haszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24thth minute of the game Waldemar Walkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stanway's Fred Bruckmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when Stanway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Brötzmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Waldemar Walkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36th minute Janusz Gall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bruckmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Bruckmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Walkowski in the 37th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timothy Kemmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fred Bruckmann made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Waldemar Walkowski sent off a good shot on target. Janusz Gall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Bruckmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Waldemar Walkowski made a precise shot to the right of Fred Bruckmann. Stanway's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Janusz Gall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slawomir Haszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fred Bruckmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Walery Skrzypek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fred Bruckmann. That made the score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Haszczak in the 75th minute of play forced Stanway's goalkeeper Fred Bruckmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Walkowskis short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Fred Bruckmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Janusz Gall struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fred Bruckmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami. Claus Hasselbach hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Inter Miami's Ludomil Banas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Fred Bruckmann managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Inter Miami's Waldemar Walkowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stanway's Fred Bruckmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Resel in the 92nd minute of play. Waldemar Walkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fred Bruckmann made a huge save.
