In the 11thth minute of the game Obiajulu Head who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castro Alves FC's Rafinha Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Moura in the 13th minute of play forced KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's goalkeeper Augustinus Hvims to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Castro Alves FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente de Lara. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Obiajulu Head elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Obiajulu Head in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafinha Messias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Irving McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Castro Alves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbeirt Dempsey came free, but Rafinha Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbeirt Dempsey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafinha Messias having to make a save. Obiajulu Heads short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Rafinha Messias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the game, Gilbeirt Dempsey recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafinha Messias. Gilbeirt Dempsey showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 38th match minute, Castro Alves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amauri Donatello to maneuver through the defense. Rafinha Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Obiajulu Head in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Castro Alves FC's zone, Obiajulu Head stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Messias came out of the goal and Obiajulu Head tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oséias Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Obiajulu Head fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Messias having to interfere. Rafinha Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obiajulu Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Obiajulu Head received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rafinha Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Castro Alves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Kurwil hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Obiajulu Head recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Gilbeirt Dempsey made a precise shot to the right of Rafinha Messias. Castro Alves FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
