An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 4th minute of play forced Tabossi's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Bartuelo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Eustaquio Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 12th minute of play. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Enmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Eneas. In the 26th minute, Ramiro Isusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 29th minute of play. Tadeo Eneas's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Eneas helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeo Eneas hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 31st minute of play forced Tabossi's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Carlos Fernández managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernández was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Modestio during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Modestio to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Eneas made a kick off. Amador Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Ramiro Isusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernández in the 59th minute of play. Seyhan Atlıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Isusko in the 60th minute of the match. Carlos Fernández struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. Seyhan Atlıhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Eneas in the 64th minute of the match. Ramiro Isusko scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Seyhan Atlıhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tabossi's Armando Bondi was substituted for Ramiro Isusko. Tabossi's Rolando Botello was substituted for Tadeo Eneas. Tabossi's Fausto Ganix was substituted for Fabio Ferman. When Rolando Botello came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Tabossi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Botello couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Libertad. In the 79thth minute of the game Rolando Botello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Seyhan Atlıhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tabossi fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Tabossi's Rolando Botello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Lauro to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Lauro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Bartuelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Ganix to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Eustaquio Bartuelo could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Nery Pumpido however easily saved by the left post. In the 89th minute, Armando Bondi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Bernardo Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Formentera's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Formentera may have spent more time on the ball, but Tabossi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
