The supporters of Scofield booed when Chaján was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Arnăutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Baumar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Sindo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Baumar in the 13th minute of play forced Chaján's goalkeeper Baldomiro Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Feliciano Baumar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaján's Baldomiro Sindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Baumar in the 19th minute of play forced Chaján's goalkeeper Baldomiro Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Jaume was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaján's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scofield the free kick. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Fabio Iago got a free kick in the 25th minute. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alvaro Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Goiano in the 36th minute of play. Baldomiro Sindo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Scofield's Feliciano Baumar. But to his dismay, Feliciano Baumar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliciano Baumar to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Chaján's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Baumar came free, but Baldomiro Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Scofield's Feliciano Baumar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With an all-out effort, Scofield's Baldomiro Sindo threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cayetano Urdin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Scofield were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Chaján's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alto Roca took the corner. After taking down the ball on Scofield's corner Alto Roca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomiro Sindo quite easily take care of the ball. Chaján's Baldomiro Sindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Chaján from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Valente came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaján's Donato Goiano. But to his dismay, Donato Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cayetano Urdin scored 1-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Sindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Sindo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Valerius Ginsberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Scofield eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
