When Aðalsteinn Esbjærg came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Philippines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aðalsteinn Esbjærg couldn't finish the play. Celso Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aðalsteinn Esbjærg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Victor Bentley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Mats Caballero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Philippines's Aðalsteinn Esbjærg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes Juventud Antoniana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aðalsteinn Esbjærg who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Floyd Tugade to score against Celso Demario in Juventud Antoniana's goal. 0-2 after 39 minutes. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Antoniana's zone, Floyd Tugade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Demario came out of the goal and Floyd Tugade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aðalsteinn Esbjærg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Celso Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Juventud Antoniana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Philippines were winning 0-2.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Aðalsteinn Esbjærg took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Celso Demario to make any attempt to save it. Mats Caballero scored 0-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Demario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Tiniebra took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armand Quison. Armand Quison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 66th minute, Trayan Davchev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventud Antoniana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 72 minutes into the match, Rene Mannie notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Philippines's Armand Quison. Armand Quison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juventud Antoniana made a substitution. Patricio Mikeldi replaced 贺适轩. 75 minutes into the game, Juventud Antoniana's Eugenio Abeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armand Quison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. After a rather tough play, Juventud Antoniana's Lobo Lobo got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trayan Davchev in the 81st minute of play forced Philippines's goalkeeper Armand Quison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trayan Davchev scored 5-4 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armand Quison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Aðalsteinn Esbjærg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celso Demario. That made the score 5-5 in the 87 minute of play. The Philippines players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Juventud Antoniana from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
