The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Lu Yuan Chen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Şaban Okdağ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 5th minute of the match Blas Bernal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şaban Okdağ skillfully saved the ball. Ali Hamza Okuyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şaban Okdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Bonsaint in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute Gilbert Bonsaint shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şaban Okdağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Bonsaint in the 14th minute of play forced A V A Z A's goalkeeper Şaban Okdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Gilbert Bonsaint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şaban Okdağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Bonsaint, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of CLAYMORE COUNTRY booed when A V A Z A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irakli Robakidze didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, A V A Z A's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Bonsaint came free, but Şaban Okdağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şaban Okdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Bonsaint in the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Lu Yuan Chen managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's supporters rose to their feet, but Lu Yuan Chen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şaban Okdağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Yuan Chen in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şaban Okdağ saved A V A Z A from getting behind. Israel Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Gilbert Bonsaint in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A V A Z A's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute CLAYMORE COUNTRY were awarded a corner. Anísio Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. Lu Yuan Chen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Azevedo in the 40th minute of play. Şaban Okdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Bonsaint in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match CLAYMORE COUNTRY got a corner. A V A Z A's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anísio Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anísio Azevedo made a great header on CLAYMORE COUNTRY's corner, it was just that A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ managed to reach the ball for a save. Eduardo Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipp Topnikov in the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Bonsaint in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şaban Okdağ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 53 minutes A V A Z A's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anísio Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. Şaban Okdağ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lu Yuan Chen went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the A V A Z A defense, Lu Yuan Chen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şaban Okdağ. The A V A Z A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şaban Okdağ should have stopped the shot. CLAYMORE COUNTRY made a substitution. Harold Straetmans replaced Eric Trăilă. CLAYMORE COUNTRY made a substitution. Ahmet Ceyhan Erozan replaced Sun Kun Bing. 68 minutes into the match, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Lu Yuan Chen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şaban Okdağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anísio Azevedo in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lu Yuan Chen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şaban Okdağ quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lu Yuan Chen had several of the A V A Z A's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Şaban Okdağ as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, A V A Z A's Israel Casas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 82 minutes into the match, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Lu Yuan Chen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şaban Okdağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind A V A Z A's goalkeeper Şaban Okdağ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute CLAYMORE COUNTRY were awarded a corner. Anísio Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Gilbert Bonsaint getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 88th match minute, A V A Z A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrey Andrzheevskiy to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, A V A Z A's Şaban Okdağ got control of the ball when Anísio Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilbert Bonsaint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şaban Okdağ having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Dusty Amireau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şaban Okdağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6.
