After taking down the ball on Gracie Barra's corner Thiago Silvan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinei Pinheiro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jago Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Augusto Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Pinheiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Terra during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Wanderson Terra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Dinei Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jago Štriker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Törnqvist came free, but Falcão Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Törnqvist in the 27th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Leif Törnqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Falcão Cunha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 39 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Wanderson Terra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. After 46 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Terra. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jago Štriker made a kick off. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jago Štriker in the 59th minute of play. Dinei Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jago Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Jacobo Casado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha. Falcão Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gracie Barra's Ke Feng Zhen was substituted for Jago Štriker. Gracie Barra's Hugo de Queirós was substituted for Augusto Saldanha. 72 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo de Queirós. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 91st minute Ke Feng Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Pinheiro had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Ke Feng Zhen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A well-hit corner resulted in Hugo de Queirós heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Gracie Barra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
