The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 16 minutes, Cengiz Ünder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chochoł Bronowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cengiz Ünder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tanek Bochinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. Inazuma Japan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseu Dante in the 19th minute. The corner led Inazuma Japan's Eliseu Dante to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Bochinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Cengiz Ünder came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Roulin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Chochoł Bronowice's Tanek Bochinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chochoł Bronowice from getting a goal against them. Gustaw Bielenda might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaw Bielenda ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaw Bielenda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Chochoł Bronowice's Tanek Bochinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Montenegro in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antônio Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. Zé Vieira was a little too slow when Gustaw Bielenda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-2. Inazuma Japan were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Chochoł Bronowice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseu Dante took the corner. The corner led Inazuma Japan's Gilson Prestes to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Bochinski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andrey Romanchenko charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrey Romanchenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chochoł Bronowice! Eliseu Dante walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Inazuma Japan made a substitution. Abelardo da Fonseca replaced Rui Silva. Inazuma Japan's Fred Cardozo was substituted for Hortêncio Montenegro. Fred Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanek Bochinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute Fred Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Bochinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Bielenda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanek Bochinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Inazuma Japan booed when Chochoł Bronowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Roulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chochoł Bronowice had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
