An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Quirino in the 9th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Natanael Munhoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Marquês de Herval's José Maria Ramalho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alfredo Martins scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maicon Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Quirino in the 21st minute of the match. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito Quirino to make the kick off. In the 59th minute, Alfredo Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maicon Trevisan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Geovani Sanchess short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Dida Taffarel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Geovani Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Taffarel having to make a save. When Dito Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Jereba 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Quirino couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes in the game José Maria Ramalho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alfredo Martins. 71 minutes into the game, Alfredo Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Maicon Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dida Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovani Sanches in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute, Enio Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Selami Rezan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maicon Trevisan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel got control of the ball when Geovani Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maicon Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Enio Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy de Barros in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Maicon Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
