Lv Zhou took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Vieira. Zé Vieira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joaquim Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Inazuma Japan getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Joaquim Maranhense hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Zhou came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Zhou in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Lv Zhou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, LOS BUITRES's Adriano Talone got a free kick in the 27th minute. LOS BUITRES's Loco Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save LOS BUITRES from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Zhou in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lv Zhou in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Vieira saved Inazuma Japan from getting behind. The LOS BUITRES fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Lv Zhou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Inazuma Japan's goalkeeper Zé Vieira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Zhou in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lv Zhou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lv Zhou scored 0-6 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute LOS BUITRES were awarded a corner. Carl Åberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Carl Åberg made a great header on LOS BUITRES's corner, it was just that Inazuma Japan's Zé Vieira managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57th minute, Lv Zhou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. In the 60th minute, Lv Zhou made a precise shot to the right of Zé Vieira. Inazuma Japan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Inazuma Japan's Abelardo da Fonseca was substituted for Rui Silva. Inazuma Japan's Adilson Ramalho was substituted for Antônio Aguiar. Zé Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lv Zhou in the 65th minute of play. Lv Zhou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Vieira having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Inazuma Japan's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Zhou came free, but Zé Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lv Zhou got free with Zé Vieira in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Inazuma Japan's zone, Lv Zhou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Vieira came out of the goal and Lv Zhou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LOS BUITRES's Fan Xiang Kuan was substituted for Xavier Salazar. In the 85th minute, Lv Zhou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Loco Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, LOS BUITRES's Lv Zhou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Loco Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo da Fonseca in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LOS BUITRES walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
