Rafinha Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Zé Paulo de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Zé Paulo de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 minutes Alfa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agnaldo Mattos who took care of the corner kick. 20 minutes into the match, Alfa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho dos Santos came free, but Pedrinho de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Otávio Lima in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Athletico Paulistano's Glauco da Rocha. Pedrinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho de Queirós came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos. But to his dismay, Fabinho dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Fabinho dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho de Queirós. Alfa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Fabinho dos Santos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Alfa FC's Pedrinho de Queirós. Pedrinho de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 47th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alfa FC's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho dos Santos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto-Carlos Håland in the 59th minute of play forced Alfa FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Fabinho dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho de Queirós. Alfa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabinho dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio Lima during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Alfa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Caetano Pelé got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 77 minutes Alfa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agnaldo Mattos who took care of the corner kick. The throw-in from Otávio Lima in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Athletico Paulistano's Agnaldo Mattos. Alfa FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabinho dos Santos 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Pedrinho de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play Alfa FC's Otávio Lima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th match minute, Alfa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Lima to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Athletico Paulistano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
