Thibaut Vandamme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alvaro Ramiréz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltazar Adán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zinedine Benzema who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Thibaut Vandamme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thibaut Vandamme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zinedine Benzema in the 30th minute. Behram Vacit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Adán having to interfere. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez was substituted for Alvaro Ramiréz. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juli Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. AGT Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Juli Alvarez scored to the left of an out of position Baltazar Adán, making the score, 1-1. After 58 played minutes AGT Team got a freekick which was hit by Peter Gimenez. When Juli Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juli Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alfredo Miliano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Peter Gimenez in the 68 minute of the game. Thibaut Vandamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Benzema in the 71st minute of play. AGT Team's Benito Azofra was substituted for Sindo Pabon. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's attentive Alfredo Miliano managed to snatch the ball when Jonathan Redondo made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibaut Vandamme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Azofra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Thibaut Vandamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lesardo Moreno in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Adán santillana came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Redondo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AGT Team getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Peter Gimenez hit a great ball. Peter Gimenez hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
