In the 4th minute, Alvaro Raymond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despidida AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. Gol in the 30th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 36th minute of play. Alvaro Raymond struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Joel Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Black Rose 1979 booed when Despidida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Gdowik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaufred Betanzos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Raymond to make the kick off. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gaufred Betanzos sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. João Garcia hit a great ball. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Alvaro Raymond. In the 69th minute, João Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Lucila in the 70th minute of play. Gaufred Betanzos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Gaufred Betanzos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Pastor Tino notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Ivănescu came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Emiliano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Rose 1979's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
