Prospero Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond. But to his dismay, Alvaro Raymond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Alvaro Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Alvaro Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Raymond's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Perico in the 33rd minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Rios came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Raymond's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Alvaro Raymond cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Raymond made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Alvaro Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Alvaro Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Emiliano Velasco replaced Alvaro Raymond. With an all-out effort, Despidida AFC's Nestor Cortez threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinu Ivănescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliksas Fenichev hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Ran Zhen to maneuver through the defense. In the 77thth minute of the game Emiliano Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emiliano Velasco scored 1-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Cortez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
