Martin Jax blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Johan Ahlqvist having to make a save. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Gaufred Betanzos came free, but Andres Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gaufred Betanzos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Lastur was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Elias Palos made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gaufred Betanzos immediately put the ball in play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Martin Jax sent off a good shot on target. Delmar Obano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GERLIROJO Ψ! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Jax made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Éder Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davor Šuker. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaufred Betanzos in the 64th minute of play. Davor Šuker hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, Black Rose 1979's D.J. Gol made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andres Lastur was left in no man's land by his defense there! GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Eleuterio Benvido replaced Arnout Van den Wyngaert. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Gombal in the 71st minute of play. The GERLIROJO Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when GERLIROJO Ψ's Epifanio Ibañez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaufred Betanzos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Lastur having to interfere. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Epifanio Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
