The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Lluc to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Jax struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Anastasio Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GERLIROJO Ψ. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 14th minute of play forced GERLIROJO Ψ's goalkeeper Andres Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluca Vialli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Lastur having to interfere. Martin Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anastasio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Jax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Jax's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Haroldo Firmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GERLIROJO Ψ the free kick. The supporters of GERLIROJO Ψ booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Rozarius's late challenge caught a GERLIROJO Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Rozarius helped the player get up and apologised. If Martin Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasio Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Jax in the 36th minute of the match. With his leg Andres Lastur managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39 minutes, Genaro Tauro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GERLIROJO Ψ and the Falckner FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Tauro. Genaro Tauro was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Vialli to make the kick off. Martin Jax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Vialli in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Aquilino Rozarius hit a great ball. GERLIROJO Ψ's Eleuterio Benvido was substituted for Arnout Van den Wyngaert. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aquilino Rozarius hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Epifanio Ibañez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Maldonado came out of the goal and Epifanio Ibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Epifanio Ibañez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Maldonado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute of the match GERLIROJO Ψ got a corner. Falckner FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Benvido ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andres Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 73rd minute of play. Andres Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Edelmiro Firme got a free kick in the 75th minute. Anastasio Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Jose Baldovino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GERLIROJO Ψ's Andres Lastur. Andres Lastur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anastasio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Ibañez in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Aritza in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Lastur saved GERLIROJO Ψ from getting behind. Epifanio Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 91st play minutes Epifanio Ibañez shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Anastasio Maldonado and just under the crossbar into goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
