In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Bergwijn came free, but Téo Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitor Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Bergwijn to make the kick off. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Steven Bergwijn got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
