With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Martins in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emerson Leão saved CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting behind. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Moraes in the 24th minute of play forced CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Emerson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Osvaldo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Martins in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emerson Leão saved CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting behind. If Elder Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes, Gaston Gonzalez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marquês de Herval and the CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Adriano de Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dida Taffarel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ reached it. 47 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when German Cano came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Marquês de Herval were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Martins to make the kick off. The match ended with a win for Marquês de Herval.
