Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Delmiro Menendo got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Antonio Janjić notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of NK RIJEKA 1983's Dida Pontes. Dida Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Romeo Mancio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Pontes was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Edgor Klaić took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Vjekoslav Rupčić to make any attempt to save it. NK RIJEKA 1983's Dida Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borko Blaškić in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, NK RIJEKA 1983's Habib Tvrtkić got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Delmiro Menendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vjekoslav Rupčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Pontes having to interfere. Edgor Klaić made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 36thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vjekoslav Rupčić would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 37 minutes Punisher FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mirso Kalinović who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on NK RIJEKA 1983's corner Mirso Kalinović fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vjekoslav Rupčić quite easily take care of the ball. Dida Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borko Blaškić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Benzema in the 43rd minute of play forced NK RIJEKA 1983's goalkeeper Dida Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dida Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borko Blaškić, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in NK RIJEKA 1983's zone, Karim Benzema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Mancio got free with Dida Pontes in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, NK RIJEKA 1983's Dida Pontes got control of the ball when Borko Blaškić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vjekoslav Rupčić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuh Maksimović in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes Punisher FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mirso Kalinović who took care of the corner kick. Dida Pontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karim Benzema showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 76 minute of play. A collision led to NK RIJEKA 1983 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mirso Kalinović hit a great ball. Romeo Mancio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Dida Pontes made a huge save. NK RIJEKA 1983's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Romeo Mancio scored to the left of an out of position Dida Pontes, making the score, 1-6. Borko Blaškić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dida Pontes came out and tried to block the shot, but Borko Blaškić slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Antonio Janjić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punisher FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Janjić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NK RIJEKA 1983's Dida Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Benzema in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Punisher FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NK RIJEKA 1983 throughout the match.
