Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bernard Seliga made the kick off which started today's match. 13 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goalkeeper Kryspin Wyrostek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Juskowiak. Andrzej Juskowiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Kryspin Wyrostek made a huge save. In the 17th minute of the match WZG Sandomierz got a corner. Newcastle United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariusz Basaik ran over to the corner to take the kick. 18 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's Andrzej Juskowiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kryspin Wyrostek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mariusz Basaik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Kryspin Wyrostek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A well-hit corner resulted in Mariusz Basaik heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Kryspin Wyrostek made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Andrzej Juskowiak sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariusz Basaik who took care of the corner kick. Kryspin Wyrostek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Juskowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Lech Wierzbicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrzej Juskowiak scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrzej Juskowiak made a kick off. When Lech Wierzbicki fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newcastle United's protests and gave Lech Wierzbicki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kryspin Wyrostek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Juskowiak's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Andrzej Juskowiak sped through Newcastle United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alper Benli in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Wyrostek saved Newcastle United from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Andrzej Juskowiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WZG Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 66th minute, Andrzej Juskowiak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Wyrostek was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Zbigniew Boniek kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Andrzej Juskowiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Wyrostek. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Wyrostek should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Andrzej Juskowiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WZG Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 82ndth minute of the game Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 85th minute of play. When WZG Sandomierz's Alper Benli in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kryspin Wyrostek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alper Benli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. WZG Sandomierz's Mete Tavukcu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lech Wierzbicki, made in the 91st minute of the game. After 94 minutes of play, WZG Sandomierz's Alper Benli made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kryspin Wyrostek was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the WZG Sandomierz players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
