It was a penalty for Tulhas! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Kells. Bras Branson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Favoretto. 0-1. When Tulhas's Rubinho Loureiro in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kells's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute Damian McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Inácio Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tulhas's Alfredo Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daithi Holt in the 14th minute of play. Bras Branson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Favoretto. Tulhas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Inácio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tulhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartley Glen Crowe was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Rubinho Loureiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rubinho Loureiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Wilson Andrade lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Kells. Bras Branson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfredo Favoretto. 1-2. The Tulhas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kells were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Machado scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartley Glen Crowe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Kells's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Machado came free, but Bartley Glen Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Kells got a freekick which was hit by Bree McPeter. If Luiz Fábio Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Inácio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tulhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartley Glen Crowe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kells's goalkeeper Bartley Glen Crowe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Mazza during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Bras Branson in the 76th minute really tested Alfredo Favoretto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Tulhas's goal looked a bit too open when Damian McTom came free, but Alfredo Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd play minute Daithi Holt came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfredo Favoretto. 2-3. Tulhas's Alfredo Favoretto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Tulhas from getting a goal against them. After having played for 93 minutes, Inácio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tulhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartley Glen Crowe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Inácio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Glen Crowe having to interfere.
