They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Soin to make the kick off. Kells's Damian McTom got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Daithi Holt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Erauso. Daithi Holt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, Emanuel Isidor notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Kells's Bartley Glen Crowe. Bartley Glen Crowe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bartley Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Soin in the 69th minute of play. River FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
