Birr Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Brak Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kiniska defense, Treno Kirby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiachra Colwell. The Kiniska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiachra Colwell should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Treno Kirby in the 16th minute of play forced Kiniska's goalkeeper Fiachra Colwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fiachra Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tierney Gollogley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tierney Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiachra Colwell having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Kiniska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turlough McTom to maneuver through the defense. After 23 minutes, Bradain McSteven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiniska and the Rossestown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Kiniska got a freekick which was hit by Bradain McSteven. After 24 played minutes Kiniska got a freekick which was hit by Bradain McSteven. Fiachra Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tierney Gollogley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryley Mullan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Fiachra Colwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breed Scully in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Kiniska's goal looked a bit too open when Tierney Gollogley came free, but Fiachra Colwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Treno Kirby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kiniska's Beag Myler got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Breed Scully shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fiachra Colwell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Rossestown booed when Kiniska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donelle Kirby didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Rossestown were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tierney Gollogley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Birr Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brak Lavine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Treno Kirby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiniska's Fiachra Colwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damian Branson made a great header on Rossestown's corner, it was just that Kiniska's Fiachra Colwell managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 64th minute of the match Rossestown got a corner. Kiniska's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Breed Scully ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Breed Scully almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kiniska's Fiachra Colwell did a great save. The supporters of Rossestown booed when Kiniska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beag Myler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kiniska! Donelle Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Donelle Kirby made a precise shot to the right of Brak Lavine. Rossestown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Birr Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiniska's supporters rose to their feet, but Birr Mullan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brak Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rossestown's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
