Binjamin Libesoons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mevlüt Yetiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Şinasi Nuralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yesilköy JK and the AFC Hoogdonk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Emir Yiğitoğlu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Pieter-Jan Goethuys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Çelebi Kemalettin in the 20th minute of the match. Yesilköy JK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 32nd match minute, Yesilköy JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mevlüt Yetiş to maneuver through the defense. Mevlüt Yetiş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys made a huge save. After 37 minutes, Onur Ali Erdursun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yesilköy JK and the AFC Hoogdonk players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Arif Çelebi Kemalettin made the kick off in the second half. When Louis Slabbaert came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the AFC Hoogdonk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Slabbaert couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd minute Arif Çelebi Kemalettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mevlüt Yetiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Goethuys having to interfere. The supporters of AFC Hoogdonk booed when Yesilköy JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahman Tevfik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Binjamin Libesoons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Slabbaert got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to AFC Hoogdonk getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Pieter-Jan Goethuys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arif Çelebi Kemalettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roel Tuerlinckx fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Hoogdonk's protests and gave Roel Tuerlinckx a yellow card for diving instead. 85 minutes into the game, one of AFC Hoogdonk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. During the 92nd minute of the match Onur Ali Erdursun completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Onur Ali Erdursun a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
