The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Artemio Marz scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Macovei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Pop Impex's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Soin came free, but Octavian Macovei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Ubaldo Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Lupoaia in the 14th minute of play. Emanuel Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Macovei having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Anibal Soin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Emanuel Isidor came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the River FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Isidor couldn't finish the play. Dinu Lupoaia kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Filiberto Xabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pop Impex the free kick. The supporters of Pop Impex booed when River FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Xabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Vasilian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to River FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Filiberto Xabier hit a great ball. Octavian Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Soin in the 39th minute of play. Octavian Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, Denis Olaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pop Impex's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River FC the free kick. Denis Olaru hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Lupoaia was the one to do the kick off. Anibal Soin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Octavian Macovei made a huge save. Jeremias Liher hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rolando Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Miu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Anibal Soin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Octavian Macovei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 66 minutes into the game, River FC's Emanuel Isidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavian Macovei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Marz in the 74th minute of play forced Pop Impex's goalkeeper Octavian Macovei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Emanuel Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. River FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Isidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Macovei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Anibal Soin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Macovei was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Jeremias Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Macovei having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Soin in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Macovei saved Pop Impex from getting behind. Dinu Lupoaia's late challenge caught a River FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Lupoaia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Pop Impex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Lupoaia to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd match minute, River FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Marz to maneuver through the defense. If Dinu Lupoaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
