Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florin Răducu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Lupoaia in the 3rd minute of play forced Croft 1's goalkeeper Emilian Bivolaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Condrea struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Octavian Macovei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croft 1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horea Crainic during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Pop Impex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Crainic to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Macovei came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Croft 1's Radu Frumușanu. But to his dismay, Radu Frumușanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Emilian Bivolaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Lupoaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stelian Minulescu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pop Impex's protests and gave Stelian Minulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Stelian Minulescu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Gabriel Condrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Macovei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergiu Zdroană during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavian Macovei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Chiru in the 29th minute of the match. Emilian Bivolaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Lupoaia in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Croft 1's Radu Frumușanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Macovei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florin Răducu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Octavian Macovei made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Croft 1's Florin Răducu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octavian Macovei. Octavian Macovei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. During the 43rd minute of the match Stelian Minulescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stelian Minulescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Croft 1 booed when Pop Impex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Minulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Florin Răducu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Octavian Macovei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinu Lupoaia was the one to do the kick off. Radu Frumușanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Lupoaia struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Emilian Bivolaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pop Impex. Florin Răducu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Macovei having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Dinu Lupoaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pop Impex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Lupoaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Viorel Mischie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Croft 1 booed when Pop Impex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Mahonea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionică Vasilian during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Pop Impex got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Vasilian. After a rather tough play, Pop Impex's Augustin Plopan got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Traian Miu fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pop Impex's protests and gave Traian Miu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pop Impex fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Radu Frumușanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Croft 1's Emilian Bivolaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Croft 1 from getting a goal against them.
