Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kiniska's Donelle Kirby started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birr Mullan in the 3rd minute of play forced Kells's goalkeeper Bartley Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kells booed when Kiniska was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herich Branson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian McTom in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fiachra Colwell saved Kiniska from getting behind. Donelle Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Glen Crowe having to interfere. Birr Mullan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartley Glen Crowe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Birr Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Glen Crowe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donelle Kirby in the 16th minute of play forced Kells's goalkeeper Bartley Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herich Branson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Damian McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fiachra Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Kiniska's Donelle Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartley Glen Crowe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birr Mullan in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartley Glen Crowe saved Kells from getting behind. Daithi Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donelle Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Donelle Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Birr Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Donelle Kirby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Kiniska was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beanon Duggan to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes, Kells's Bras Branson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fiachra Colwell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kells reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian McTom was the one to do the kick off. Bartley Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donelle Kirby in the 63rd minute of play. Damian McTom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiachra Colwell having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Birr Mullan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartley Glen Crowe. The goal made the score 0-1. When Damian McTom came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Kells fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian McTom couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Beag Myler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birr Mullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Kells's goal looked a bit too open when Donelle Kirby came free, but Bartley Glen Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes, Kiniska's Herich Branson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartley Glen Crowe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kiniska reached it. After 89 minutes of play Kiniska's Bradain McSteven was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bradain McSteven hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Kiniska's goal looked a bit too open when Damian McTom came free, but Fiachra Colwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Bairthmead McDecland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birr Mullan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Bartley Glen Crowe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Kiniska left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kells.
