Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Soin in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Favoretto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Tulhas's zone, Filiberto Xabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Favoretto came out of the goal and Filiberto Xabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Alfredo Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Soin in the 15th minute of the match. Rolando Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Mazza in the 19th minute of play. Artemio Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anibal Soin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Soin in the 37th minute of the match. River FC's Rolando Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Machado in the 39th minute of play. Alfredo Favoretto came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by River FC's Emanuel Isidor. But to his dismay, Emanuel Isidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 45th match minute, Tulhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
In the 51st minute, Artemio Marz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Inácio Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Erauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Luiz Fábio Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Brodel got free with Rolando Erauso in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Chan during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tulhas booed when River FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Tulhas's Inácio Machado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Lauro Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The River FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tulhas's performance. The match ended with a win for Tulhas.
