Fiachra Colwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Goethuys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donelle Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Birr Mullan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Pieter-Jan Goethuys when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Binjamin Libesoons came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the AFC Hoogdonk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binjamin Libesoons couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Kiniska's Beag Myler got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, AFC Hoogdonk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donelle Kirby fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Birr Mullan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Elias Vissenaekers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fiachra Colwell was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Binjamin Libesoons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiachra Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Vissenaekers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 36 played minutes Kiniska got a freekick which was hit by Bairthmead McDecland. AFC Hoogdonk's Pieter-Jan Goethuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donelle Kirby in the 39th minute of play. Kiniska's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Devlin Tracy in the 41st minute. Kiniska's Devlin Tracy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Louis Slabbaert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Birr Mullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Vissenaekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donelle Kirby to make the kick off. Binjamin Libesoons kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Kiniska's Donelle Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pieter-Jan Goethuys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Louis Slabbaert hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to AFC Hoogdonk getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Louis Slabbaert hit a great ball. Pieter-Jan Goethuys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donelle Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kiniska's zone, Binjamin Libesoons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiachra Colwell came out of the goal and Binjamin Libesoons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pieter-Jan Goethuys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donelle Kirby's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Birr Mullan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pieter-Jan Goethuys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiniska's goalkeeper Fiachra Colwell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kiniska's Donelle Kirby got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
