Binjamin Libesoons struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Can Eryavuz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Hoogdonk. After 34 minutes, Erenay Okatay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asist and the AFC Hoogdonk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Asist's Erenay Okatay got a free kick in the 34th minute. Müjdat Güler charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Despite this Pieter-Jan Goethuys quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Louis Slabbaert hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Cavit Özgen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
