After 24 minutes, Bairthmead Cassin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kells and the Yesilköy JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian McTom in the 30th minute of play forced Yesilköy JK's goalkeeper Bedrettin Sakman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartley Glen Crowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Çelebi Kemalettin went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Mevlüt Yetiş took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Bartley Glen Crowe to make any attempt to save it. Bartley Glen Crowe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Çelebi Kemalettin's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Çelebi Kemalettin to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartley Glen Crowe came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yesilköy JK's Arif Çelebi Kemalettin. But to his dismay, Arif Çelebi Kemalettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Yesilköy JK's zone, Daithi Holt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedrettin Sakman came out of the goal and Daithi Holt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Bras Branson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Arif Çelebi Kemalettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartley Glen Crowe was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The supporters of Yesilköy JK booed when Kells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairthmead Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bricin McPhilip charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bricin McPhilip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Kells got a freekick which was hit by Bricin McPhilip. Rahman Tevfik, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Onur Ali Erdursun's late challenge caught a Kells's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onur Ali Erdursun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yesilköy JK's Onur Ali Erdursun got a free kick in the 81st minute. Bartley Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Kemalettin in the 86th minute of play. Daithi Holt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bedrettin Sakman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Arif Çelebi Kemalettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Glen Crowe having to interfere. Mevlüt Yetiş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bartley Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kells's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
