The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mevlüt Yetiş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Dariusz Odachowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dariusz Odachowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mevlüt Yetiş in the 6th minute. Yesilköy JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rahman Tevfik in the 8th minute. Yesilköy JK's Rahman Tevfik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dariusz Odachowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 13 minutes into the game, Hakkı Kenan Uygu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yesilköy JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legia Ursynów the free kick. After a rather tough play, Yesilköy JK's Hakkı Kenan Uygu got a free kick in the 13th minute. Cezary Drebit kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Donato Benino took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bedrettin Sakman. Bedrettin Sakman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dariusz Odachowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Emir Yiğitoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the match, Arif Çelebi Kemalettin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dariusz Odachowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Onur Ali Erdursun's late challenge caught a Legia Ursynów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onur Ali Erdursun helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, Şinasi Nuralp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dariusz Odachowski. Şinasi Nuralp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Legia Ursynów's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Çelebi Kemalettin came free, but Dariusz Odachowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Miroslaw Wawak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legia Ursynów and the Yesilköy JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arif Çelebi Kemalettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dariusz Odachowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legia Ursynów's Dariusz Odachowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Çelebi Kemalettin in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Benino in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bedrettin Sakman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
In the 55th minute Şinasi Nuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Odachowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Kenan Uygu made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Onur Ali Erdursun. After 59 played minutes Legia Ursynów got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Marajda. Cezary Drebit hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Rahman Tevfik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dariusz Odachowski. Legia Ursynów's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Yesilköy JK's Arif Çelebi Kemalettin in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legia Ursynów's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Benino took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bedrettin Sakman. Bedrettin Sakman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 73rd minute Mevlüt Yetiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Odachowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dariusz Odachowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Çelebi Kemalettin in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Yesilköy JK were awarded a corner. Rahman Tevfik went to the cornerflag to take it. Rahman Tevfik made a great header on Yesilköy JK's corner, it was just that Legia Ursynów's Dariusz Odachowski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 77th minute, Remigiusz Zjawin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yesilköy JK's Ali Emir Yiğitoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dariusz Odachowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mevlüt Yetiş in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Onur Ali Erdursun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Odachowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Legia Ursynów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Mazurkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. When Mevlüt Yetiş came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Yesilköy JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mevlüt Yetiş couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Odachowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Ali Erdursun in the 91st minute of play. Legia Ursynów's Dariusz Odachowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt Yetiş in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Yesilköy JK lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
