The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauro Brodel got free with Cătălin Bocaneț in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dinu Lupoaia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pop Impex's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Lupoaia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lauro Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Bocaneț having to interfere. Horea Crainic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Wilson Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tulhas and the Pop Impex players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tulhas's Wilson Andrade got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dinu Lupoaia took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Favoretto. Pop Impex's Cătălin Bocaneț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Machado in the 40th minute of play. Richard Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Bocaneț having to interfere. Cătălin Bocaneț was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Lauro Brodel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lauro Brodel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Inácio Machado made the kick off in the second half. Inácio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cătălin Bocaneț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Pop Impex got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Plopan. 55 minutes into the match, Pop Impex's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Machado came free, but Cătălin Bocaneț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lauro Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Brodel in the 61st minute of play forced Pop Impex's goalkeeper Cătălin Bocaneț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Bocaneț having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Pop Impex got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Vasilian. The audience was convinced that Inácio Machado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Bocaneț was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Cătălin Bocaneț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Machado in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Lauro Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tulhas booed when Pop Impex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Udurbac didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pop Impex fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Bocaneț should have stopped the shot. Cătălin Bocaneț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Tulhas were the better team. Tulhas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
