A collision led to AFC Hoogdonk getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Yelle Van Craen hit a great ball. If Gabriel Condrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Elias Vissenaekers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Bivolaru was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of Croft 1 booed when AFC Hoogdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Slabbaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Hoogdonk's Louis Slabbaert got a free kick in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Vissenaekers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilian Bivolaru. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After some careless play in the Croft 1 defense, Binjamin Libesoons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilian Bivolaru. The Croft 1 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilian Bivolaru should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, AFC Hoogdonk's Binjamin Libesoons sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Bivolaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Gogea kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Binjamin Libesoons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Bivolaru having to make a save. After 27 minutes, Vali Zorlescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croft 1 and the AFC Hoogdonk players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Croft 1 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vali Zorlescu hit a great ball. Florin Răducu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilian Bivolaru stood somewhat misplaced when Elias Vissenaekers came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. Elias Vissenaekers struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Emilian Bivolaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Hoogdonk. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Vissenaekers to strike the kick off in the second half. AFC Hoogdonk's Elias Vissenaekers got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Croft 1's goal looked a bit too open when Binjamin Libesoons came free, but Emilian Bivolaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Binjamin Libesoons put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emilian Bivolaru. Binjamin Libesoons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 67th minute of the match Vali Zorlescu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vali Zorlescu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Croft 1's Vali Zorlescu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Emilian Bivolaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Binjamin Libesoons in the 73rd minute of the match. Florin Răducu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florin Răducu might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pieter-Jan Goethuys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florin Răducu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85thth minute of the game Binjamin Libesoons who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Croft 1's Emilian Bivolaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilian Bivolaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Vissenaekers in the 87th minute of play. Binjamin Libesoons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Bivolaru having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, AFC Hoogdonk's Elias Vissenaekers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Bivolaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
