Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elias Vissenaekers started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Pino Colebinders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Hoogdonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pino Colebinders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieter-Jan Goethuys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borivoje Gošić in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Hoogdonk's zone, Borivoje Gošić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pieter-Jan Goethuys came out of the goal and Borivoje Gošić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Krajina's Borivoje Gošić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pieter-Jan Goethuys. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Borivoje Gošić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pieter-Jan Goethuys having to make a save. Draža Klještan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Goethuys having to interfere. Sreten Jerinić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Vissenaekers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binjamin Libesoons in the 22nd minute of play forced FK Krajina's goalkeeper Sreten Jerinić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sreten Jerinić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binjamin Libesoons in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Slabbaert in the 24th minute of play forced FK Krajina's goalkeeper Sreten Jerinić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Binjamin Libesoons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sreten Jerinić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louis Slabbaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sreten Jerinić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Binjamin Libesoons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Binjamin Libesoons in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sreten Jerinić saved FK Krajina from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Borivoje Gošić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Vissenaekers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sreten Jerinić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Paun Eterović got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 42 played minutes AFC Hoogdonk got a freekick which was hit by Roel Tuerlinckx. After 43 played minutes, FK Krajina's Paun Eterović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Goethuys came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FK Krajina reached it. In the 47th minute of the match, Oliver Čajetinac tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paun Eterović was the one to do the kick off. AFC Hoogdonk's Pieter-Jan Goethuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borivoje Gošić in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Borivoje Gošić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Goethuys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, FK Krajina's goalkeeper Sreten Jerinić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Vissenaekers. When FK Krajina's Paun Eterović in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pieter-Jan Goethuys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Krajina. When Borivoje Gošić came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FK Krajina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borivoje Gošić couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, FK Krajina's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Vissenaekers came free, but Sreten Jerinić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Sreten Jerinić throw himself and got hold of the ball when Yelle Van Craen in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 75th minute Elias Vissenaekers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sreten Jerinić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Čajetinac in the 77th minute of play forced AFC Hoogdonk's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Goethuys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Paun Eterović managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Krajina's supporters rose to their feet, but Paun Eterović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pieter-Jan Goethuys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, FK Krajina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias Vissenaekers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paun Eterović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Hoogdonk players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FK Krajina.
