After 5 minutes, Ubaldo Milian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River FC and the La Cueva Del Pajaro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Cueva Del Pajaro booed when River FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Milian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Gilberto Acha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Emanuel Isidor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danilo Cazorla. Emanuel Isidor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th match minute, La Cueva Del Pajaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porfiro Castellano to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Jeremias Liher in the 12th minute really tested Danilo Cazorla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gilberto Acha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Cueva Del Pajaro's Gilberto Acha got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, River FC's Melchor Elija got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes La Cueva Del Pajaro got a freekick which was hit by Rufino Griego. Rolando Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliu Acha in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Cueva Del Pajaro's Aritz Guijarro got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the last second Danilo Cazorla throw himself and got hold of the ball when Anibal Soin in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Danilo Cazorla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Marz in the 31st minute of play. When Garci Patiño fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cueva Del Pajaro's protests and gave Garci Patiño a yellow card for diving instead. Garci Patiño hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Anibal Soin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Danilo Cazorla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 36 minutes into the match, River FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Acha came free, but Rolando Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Cueva Del Pajaro booed when River FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucila Vega in the 38th minute of the match. Anibal Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Acha to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Acha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, La Cueva Del Pajaro's Garci Patiño ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Erauso. Rolando Erauso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Anibal Soin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Cueva Del Pajaro's Danilo Cazorla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Isidor in the 70th minute of play. Artemio Marz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Danilo Cazorla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Acha in the 78th minute of play forced River FC's goalkeeper Rolando Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Emanuel Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Cazorla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Gilberto Acha took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rolando Erauso to make any attempt to save it. Anibal Soin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Cazorla having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Artemio Marz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Danilo Cazorla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, La Cueva Del Pajaro's Garci Patiño got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
