When Pieter Vaes fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Hoogdonk's protests and gave Pieter Vaes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Pieter Vaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Legia Ursynów's Boleslaw Adamus got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Vissenaekers in the 5th minute of play forced Legia Ursynów's goalkeeper Dariusz Odachowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Odachowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Vissenaekers, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milosz Nieuzyla in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pieter-Jan Goethuys saved AFC Hoogdonk from getting behind. Remigiusz Zjawin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legia Ursynów fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute, Milosz Nieuzyla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoeri Steenbeeck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Roman Winograd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pieter-Jan Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Legia Ursynów's goal looked a bit too open when Yelle Van Craen came free, but Dariusz Odachowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Odachowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Binjamin Libesoons went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, Legia Ursynów's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Slabbaert came free, but Dariusz Odachowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Hoogdonk's Pieter-Jan Goethuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Winograd in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Vissenaekers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dariusz Odachowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pino Colebinders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Odachowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Vissenaekers, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zula Golembiewski during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AFC Hoogdonk booed when Legia Ursynów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Golembiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bernard Grucza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes AFC Hoogdonk got a freekick which was hit by Louis Slabbaert. In the 67th minute, Louis Slabbaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Winograd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Legia Ursynów's Dariusz Odachowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pino Colebinders in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elias Vissenaekers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Odachowski was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 89 minutes in the game Yelle Van Craen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Louis Slabbaert. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Louis Slabbaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Hoogdonk's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Slabbaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Odachowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Winograd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, AFC Hoogdonk could leave the field as winners, despite Legia Ursynów having more of the ball for most of the match.
