It was Tobias Xacintu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Tobias Xacintu to fire away a dangerous shot which Franciszek Lerych despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute, Saturnino Romo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Katramados, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Knopek made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fotis Katramados immediately put the ball in play. Oliverio Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Rodriguez in the 40th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Lucas Rodriguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliverio Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Napoleon Kolbert was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dwa Do Ósmej's players had a chance to rest. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Romo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Lavezzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franciszek Lerych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Tobias Xacintu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ and the FC Dwa Do Ósmej players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Xacintu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Romo in the 70th minute of play forced FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Jerzy Marchefka replaced Saturnino Romo. FC Dwa Do Ósmej made a substitution. Bartlomiej Matela replaced Teofil Fudalej. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when FC Dwa Do Ósmej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honesto Cuetos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliverio Kahn should have stopped the shot. Radomir Anszczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliverio Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radomir Anszczak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Jerzy Marchefka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Lerych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Dwa Do Ósmej had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
