Benjamin Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro got a free kick in the 18th minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Labarra in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Xesc Labarra made a precise shot to the right of Tito Chayo. Nippur de Lagash 2's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Casimiro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xesc Labarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tito Chayo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Casimiro Cordarell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nippur de Lagash 2's Casimiro Cordarell got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Nicholas made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Charly Fernández however managed to control. Miguel Ángel Santoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Cordarell's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Cesar Vargas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Nippur de Lagash 2's Sergio Dantae quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Segundo Oro replaced Hernan Lehen. Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cipriano Nicholas, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Charly Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tito Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Pero got free with Tito Chayo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Dantae hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Cordarell in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved Chacarita Futsal from getting behind. Nippur de Lagash 2 were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Chacarita Futsal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Israel Oliviero took the corner. The corner ended in Israel Oliviero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chacarita Futsal's Miguel Ángel Santoro did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Fernández came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Chacarita Futsal defense, Casimiro Cordarell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. The Chacarita Futsal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Ángel Santoro should have stopped the shot. Chacarita Futsal's Isidro Gaztea was substituted for Charly Fernández. Isidro Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Oro in the 93rd minute of play. If Isidro Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chacarita Futsal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
