In the 19th minute Moner Khaja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Owsiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdul Mohsen Al Banwan. After the first half Presidental Guard 2011 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sror Sarkhoh made the kick off in the second half. Sven-Edvin Nordlander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamzah Bo Abbas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Presidental Guard 2011 booed when Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lafi Al Mosawe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Masuod Al Holey hit a great ball. Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's Tolek Owsiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Masuod Dehrab in the 68th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Presidental Guard 2011 got a freekick which was hit by Moner Khaja. Shaker Al Abdullah's late challenge caught a Presidental Guard 2011's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaker Al Abdullah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Shaker Al Abdullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Presidental Guard 2011's Sror Sarkhoh dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Tolek Owsiak made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sror Sarkhoh sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match, Naji Al Saleh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tolek Owsiak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Ras al-Jaima Al Ain FC's zone, Ahmad Khorshed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolek Owsiak came out of the goal and Ahmad Khorshed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Presidental Guard 2011 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Presidental Guard 2011 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
