Andrew Carrillos might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Zander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrew Carrillos ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Al Wasl Dubai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Van Mechelen came free, but Sten Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Oláh in the 10th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Vítor Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Zander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 28 minutes of play, Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sten Zander was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Al Wasl Dubai FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Abdul Mohsen Al Sallal hit a great ball. If Andrew Carrillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Al Arbash to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Carrillos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Zander saved Al Wasl Dubai FC from getting behind. In the 57th minute Andrew Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ghazi Al Fadhalah hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Andrew Carrillos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Al Wasl Dubai FC's Sten Zander. Sten Zander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sten Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartholemew Quigley, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Victoria Mlawa were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Al Wasl Dubai FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Alberto Secco took the corner. The corner led Victoria Mlawa's Andrew Carrillos to a score. 5-0 in the 64th minute. When Walter Van Mechelen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Victoria Mlawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Van Mechelen couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Andrew Carrillos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Zander was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Victoria Mlawa made a substitution. Jurand Lenertej replaced Andrew Carrillos. Monther Al Srae hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Al Wasl Dubai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Van Mechelen came free, but Sten Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Wasl Dubai FC's Sten Zander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Van Mechelen in the 86th minute of play. Sten Zander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Van Mechelen in the 86th minute of the match. Jurand Lenertej scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sten Zander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victoria Mlawa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
