In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Theuns's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kamionka Death SquaD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcelo Ascencio in the 6th minute. Nicholas Mangope kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Jerzy Tamulewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Tamulewicz in the 11th minute of the match. Theuns's Nils-Emil Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Tamulewicz in the 28th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Theuns's zone, Jerzy Tamulewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Emil Hermansson came out of the goal and Jerzy Tamulewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Gary Kekana threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kamionka Death SquaD's Florian Narbut quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jerzy Tamulewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Theuns defense, Jerzy Tamulewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Emil Hermansson. The Theuns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Emil Hermansson should have stopped the shot. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Tamulewicz in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Kamionka Death SquaD's Claudio Fioravanti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Emil Hermansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Tamulewicz in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Emil Hermansson saved Theuns from getting behind. Kamionka Death SquaD's Kasper Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Khomane in the 46th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Kasper Schmeichel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 48th minute, Jerzy Tamulewicz made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Emil Hermansson. Theuns's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Kamionka Death SquaD made a substitution. Oliver Bierhoff replaced Jerzy Tamulewicz.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Khomane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Theuns's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kamionka Death SquaD's Dawid Serwacki was substituted for Silvestre Tonio. In the 66th minute Kamionka Death SquaD were awarded a corner. Marcelo Ascencio went to the cornerflag to take it. Oliver Bierhoff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 85th minute, Oliver Bierhoff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Emil Hermansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Theuns's Nils-Emil Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Theuns from getting a goal against them. Kamionka Death SquaD's Florian Narbut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gary Kekana in the 90 minute of the game. Nils-Emil Hermansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 91st minute. A hard shot 94 in the game by Oliver Bierhoff from a close distance when the talented Nils-Emil Hermansson managed to make a qualified save. Theuns's players were relieved. Joseph Inguana's late challenge caught a Kamionka Death SquaD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Inguana helped the player get up and apologised. Joseph Inguana hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Nils-Emil Hermansson in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Theuns supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kamionka Death SquaD's performance. The match ended with a win for Kamionka Death SquaD.
