The referee ignored Monia&Ibrahim's protests and gave Marcus Sjöö a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Barco charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Barco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Valentin Barco hit a great ball. Miguel Nicolau kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ruben Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Nyqvist in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute Sebastián Battaglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Karlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Ruben Sánchez got control of the ball when Inge Collin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Rogel to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rdth minute of the game Nicolás Valentini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monia&Ibrahim's Casper Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes Monia&Ibrahim got a freekick which was hit by Inge Collin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén-Darío Feldmann in the 38th minute of play forced Monia&Ibrahim's goalkeeper Casper Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Valentini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Rubén-Darío Feldmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monia&Ibrahim's Casper Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rubén-Darío Feldmann got free in front of the goal in the 40th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Casper Karlsson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Casper Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolás Valentini, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Nicolás Valentini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Karlsson. Monia&Ibrahim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolás Valentini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Monia&Ibrahim's Casper Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Monia&Ibrahim from getting a goal against them. Gabi Batistuta replaced Nicolás Valentini. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Rubén-Darío Feldmann took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Casper Karlsson to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Monia&Ibrahim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Högberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sebastián Battaglia came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Battaglia couldn't finish the play. Monia&Ibrahim's Casper Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Monia&Ibrahim from getting a goal against them. Casper Karlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabi Batistuta in the 78th minute. Lucas Bergvall's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. La Candela FC played a much better game than Monia&Ibrahim and deserved their victory. The Monia&Ibrahim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
