Osama Al Qattan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven de Zwaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Aires in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osama Al Qattan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Domingos Aires put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Osama Al Qattan. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Domingos Aires sped through Hatta Club 1981's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osama Al Qattan. 19 minutes into the match, Sven de Zwaan notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Hatta Club 1981's Osama Al Qattan. Osama Al Qattan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Sven de Zwaan made a precise shot to the right of Osama Al Qattan. Hatta Club 1981's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Osama Al Qattan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentinos Juniors's Sven de Zwaan. But to his dismay, Sven de Zwaan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Fințescu in the 46th minute of play forced Hatta Club 1981's goalkeeper Osama Al Qattan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Argentinos Juniors's Domingos Aires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osama Al Qattan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. The Hatta Club 1981 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Argentinos Juniors were winning 0-10.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Aires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Sven de Zwaan from a close distance when the talented Osama Al Qattan managed to make a qualified save. Hatta Club 1981's players were relieved. Osama Al Qattan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Sven de Zwaan sent off a good shot on target. After 57 minutes, Sven de Zwaan made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Hatta Club 1981's Osama Al Qattan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Petruț Fințescu took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osama Al Qattan. Osama Al Qattan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. In the 63rd minute, Sven de Zwaan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Leon Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Mohammad Taiban charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohammad Taiban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Mohammad Taiban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Moner Al Besher fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hatta Club 1981's protests and gave Moner Al Besher a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hatta Club 1981 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Hatta Club 1981's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Robert Wilson 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-15. In the 79th minute, Robert Wilson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. Sayer Baroun hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Leon Richie struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Osama Al Qattan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinos Juniors. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven de Zwaan got free with Osama Al Qattan in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osama Al Qattan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Aires went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score.
