Manolis Ntouvaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven de Zwaan in the 5th minute of play. Domingos Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Manolis Ntouvaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manolis Ntouvaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Drafi booed when Argentinos Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Elssen got free with Rigoberto Nazario in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario got control of the ball when Daniel Malinovský tried to sneak it across the goal line. Argentinos Juniors's Rigoberto Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Botasso in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Elssen came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolis Ntouvaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Aires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manolis Ntouvaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 played minutes Drafi got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Kolokithopoulos. Sven de Zwaan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Ntouvaris having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Cristian Botasso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rigoberto Nazario to make any attempt to save it. Celedonio Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Drafi made a substitution. Takis Chatzigiannis replaced Claudio Busillo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Botasso to make the kick off. Manolis Ntouvaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Elequemedo in the 53rd minute of play. Rigoberto Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Elssen in the 55th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Drafi's Daniel Malinovský nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Nazario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Drafi's Nektarios Bezas was substituted for Kleon Sgouros. 71 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Elssen came free, but Rigoberto Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soulis Felegakis in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soulis Felegakis in the 78th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Mero hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Takis Chatzigiannis went to the cornerflag to take it. Justo Elequemedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Manolis Ntouvaris made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Edgard Elssen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Rigoberto Nazario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manolis Ntouvaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven de Zwaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Rigoberto Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziioannou Stavrakos in the 97th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziioannou Stavrakos in the 97th minute of play forced Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drafi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
